This pair of well weathered silver bracelets bears repoussé and incision work with added silver balls to the animal-head terminals which may be tiger, lion, snakes, dragon and the very popular elephant heads known as Makara: a mythic water beast blending crocodile-jaw, elephant trunk and fish tail, Ganga's own mount. Touching it promises rich, flowing fertility.

 A beautifully repoussè and chased silver cuff from Gujarat, India. It is fully decorated with seven rows of floral scrolls tapering to the upper part with a row of protruding floral knobs.

This plain silver cuff carries an overlaid medallion, silver petals and four thin, die-stamped strips, one centimeter wide, stained orange with enamel. Ends are etched thick with sharp geometry.

A pair of modest silver cuffs from Afghanistan, seven tidy bands of geometric and floral carving. Slide the copper rod at the hinge and they snap open or shut.

This silver cuff is hand chased and chiseled on a 6 mm thick silver. It is etched with rows of geometric shapes that swap every line. A sliding copper rod snaps the hinge open or shut.
