Four pairs of Burmese amber [burmite] ear plugs from Mizoram worn by Mizo tribal men, a tiny state of North east India that borders with Myanmar. The Mizos love burmite for its color that ranges from reddish to dark brown color. Because of its miraculous properties it has long been used as amulets or in religious ceremonies for purification.
