This necklace comprised of 70 strands of sky blue colour Czechoslovakian or Venetian-made glass beads. Strands are interwoven at their terminals and closed with a coin button and a loop. Since these type of necklaces are most popular and are worn by both sexes, many of these could be still be sourced until the early nineties. Today replicas of inferior quality are mostly sold in touristy shops in Kathmandu but they have fewer strands and the beads are not of the same period.
