Marangga silver pectoral, West Sumba Indonesia 19th century

The Marangga has the shape of two joined triangles, in a double axe head shape. Being part of heirloom treasure especially those that are made of gold, the Marangga is kept in the attic of noble houses and taken out in the light only for special occasions.
