A rare and highly decorated Laotian silver lime box. The box is octagonal and has three tiers of low relief repoussé work. The middle part is divided into 8 sections featuring the lion in the largest section on each side. The lid is covered with stylized floral scroll motif and its flaring stemmed base is decorated with the heart or cloud pattern.
